latex-cjk-common software package provides LaTeX macro package for CJK (Chinese/Japanese/Korean), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install latex-cjk-common
latex-cjk-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the latex-cjk-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep latex-cjk-common *
You will get with latex-cjk-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
